Double Up Your Nectar Points

It has been confirmed that the annual Nectar ‘Double-Up’ Promotion will start tomorrow (30th October). This promotion allows you to double the value of your Nectar points on selected items in Sainsbury’s.

From 30th October to 5th November you can exchange points online (or 13th-19th Nov for an e-voucher via the App) to spend in Sainsbury’s stores between 13th and 19th November.

There is a limit of £100 worth of double-up vouchers (10,000 points) and points can be exchanged in 1,000 point increments – i.e. 1,000 for £10, 2,000 for £20 and so on. Vouchers must be spent between 13th and 19th November and can only be spent on the following categories of items:

  • Cosmetics
  • Electricals
  • Entertainment
  • Fragrance
  • Gifts
  • Homeware
  • Seasonal goods
  • Skincare
  • Taste the Difference wine, champagne, sparkling wine, sherry and port
  • Toys
  • Tu clothing (including footwear and accessories)

To order a voucher online log into Nectar.com and click on the Double Up tab, as shown below.

Useful for Christmas Shopping?

If you’ve got a stash of Nectar points, then this one could be very useful for some Christmas shopping. Given the categories, the promotion is ideal if you’re planning on buying gifts and wine.

Given their usual fixed value (0.5p), this is about as good value as you’re going to get with Nectar points.
