As part of British Airways centenary celebrations, this weekend (Saturday 6th July) BA Executive Club members can buy tickets for Legoland Windsor for just £17 per person. £11 cheaper than the standard day ticket price of £28.
If you’re not an existing BA Executive Club member, then you can simply buy tickets and join. You do not need your BA number to book the tickets, but you do need to evidence your BA Executive Membership on arrival (using the digital card in the App). So you can just join (here), download the App and login to get your card. There is no limit to the number of tickets you can buy. Adult and child tickets are £17, but under 3’s are free.
These tickets provide access to the park throughout the day and car parking (saving another £6). They will also gain you a special BA wristband on arrival. This wristband allows you to have extended, and exclusive, access from 18:00-21:00 – i.e. at closing time for the general public BA wristband holders will be able to remain in the park. During this period the capacity will be restricted to just 5,000 – presumably meaning an opportunity to enjoy the park with less queueing and crowds.

If you like the idea of visiting Legoland, then this is a good opportunity for both discounted tickets and reduced crowds. Whilst promotions offering discounted Legoland tickets aren’t that unusual, gaining exclusive access with them is.
The only additional benefit which might have been nice, would have been a good value Avios redemption for tickets – but it seems they are not available to purchase with points. We’ll be taking advantage of the offer, and using American Express points to book our hotel stay. For our family of six, this will reduce the price of Legoland entry and a one night Hilton hotel stay from £374 to £102 (plus 30,000 points for two hotel rooms).
